Island View Staff and Custodians

All Island View students (gr. K-6) are to have an earthquake kit:

Sm. flashlight - batteries separate

Juice, in unopened container

Snack Pack fruit, unopened

Granola Bar or similar treat

Large garbage bag, folded in kit

Anything else you feel is appropriate

Place these items in a large Ziploc bag with your name on it.

Island View Kindergarten

1- 3-ring binder, ½” or 1”, w/ clear cover pocket

2- Report folder (holds 3-hole punched paper)

(Made of paper, not plastic)

1- Backpack, with child’s full name (big enough

to hold 3-ring binder)

1- Box crayons (16-ct.)

1- Box colored pencils (12-ct.)

6- Glue sticks

Plastic bags (Ziploc), sandwich or gallon size

Many items are available to use in the classroom

Caring For Kids will sponsor our 11^th annual Ready To Learn Fair in Anacortes, Saturday, August 21, 2010, 10:00-2:00 at Anacortes Middle School. This event is designed to assist Fidalgo Island families with clothing and school supplies so that all students (K-8) have the opportunity to return to school with the tools to be successful. Parents must have their children with them.
