Mr. Weakly's fourth grade students are part of the world wide GLOBE scientific community and have recorded over seven thousand atmospheric measurements, thus contributing to academic studies in such areas as remote sensing, hydrology and global warming.
    In addition to standard teaching techniques, I instruct using techniques developed by Dr Stanley Progrow, and formalized in the HOTS program. I have taught at all grade levels from kindergarten through college, and have been a business partner and consultant in a software development company.

 My recreational activities include artistic metalworking and blacksmithing .
