| Our "camera obscura", or pinhole cameras, consisted
of a light-proof box (ours were cardboard) with a tiny hole
at one end, (ours were typically 0.016" dia.) and photographic
paper (the film) on the other end. We exposed the film by uncovering
and recovering the pinhole with a piece of black tape. Our exposure
times were between 20 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on the
brightness. After exposing the paper, we took it out in our
darkroom and each of us got to develop our own pictures. . |
