by Alexander, Sam, Evan, Melissa, Aidan Field trips are when we go somewhere else during school, like a museum, zoo, or an aquarium and other places. Sixth graders get to go on the most field trips, because they are in their last year at Island View. |

Before the end of the school year, the sixth
graders will go to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! They will also go to
Seattle, Washington, USA to go to the zoo! These field trips will help them
get to know each other as they go into middle school next year.
The sixth graders also go to a forest park on May 10, every year to study conservation. Sixth graders have been going on that trip for over 20 years!
But sixth graders don't get to have all the fun! The fifth graders go on a science field trip on June 6 to a tugboat to study marine science! Unfortunately, the fourth graders didn't go on any. |
Our class also went on short field trips for
Service Learning to meet Alki and her trainer once a month to play and report
our project. Click on the link for Service Learning to learn more!
This year we are trying to raise $1,000 to help hurricane victims. After hurricane Katrina and Rita, victims are badly in need of food, clothing, and other items.ile
